LIVEZA IPTV

A project by S. M. Mujahid Sourov

PHP JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 hls.js Apache JSON

A free web TV player for live Bangladeshi and Bengali channels, with search, categories and a mobile-friendly floating player.

About this project

LIVEZA IPTV started from a simple problem: free, public Bangladeshi TV streams exist, but they are scattered across playlist files that ordinary viewers can't open. I wanted one clean page where anyone can pick a channel and start watching, on a laptop or a phone.

The site downloads public M3U playlists (Free-TV and iptv-org), merges them, groups every channel into categories such as Entertainment, Islamic, Sports and Kids, and shows them in a searchable guide. YouTube live channels and YouTube playlists (for example Bangla movies) are added alongside the TV channels, so everything plays in the same player.

The front end is plain JavaScript, split into Model, View and Controller files, with no framework. Live streams play through hls.js, which also gives viewers a quality picker when a channel offers several resolutions. A small health indicator in the header shows how fast the stream is loading, and auto-skip moves to the next channel when one is offline.

The PHP back end is kept small: a few endpoints that check whether channels are online, load channel logos, look up YouTube videos, and relay streams where the browser can't load them directly. Every endpoint only answers requests coming from the site itself, and the admin panel uses a hashed password and CSRF tokens.
